Questions? We’ve got you.
Everything you need to know about fundraising with Future Foods — from getting started to getting paid.
Getting started
Starting is simple. Here are the things organisers usually want to know first.
Can anyone start a fundraiser?
Yes. Future Foods Fundraising is open to anyone wanting to raise money for something that matters — individuals, families, schools, teams, clubs, community groups, organisations and more.
How long can my fundraiser run?
You choose your fundraiser start and end dates when you set it up. Once your fundraiser has been approved, those dates are locked so supporters and Future Foods can plan around the same timeframe.
What products can we sell?
You can choose from the active products in our fundraising catalogue, including a range of food and everyday fundraising favourites. Visit our Products page to see what is currently available.
Can I choose which products are in my fundraiser?
Yes. Organisers choose which available products they want to offer, so you can build a range that suits your fundraiser and your supporters.
How can I share and promote my fundraiser?
Once your fundraiser is created, your Organiser Dashboard gives you free promotional tools to help share it with your community. You can share your fundraiser by email, use your unique fundraiser URL, download a ready-to-use poster, and share your own custom QR code — all included at no extra cost. Supporters can follow the link or scan the QR code to go directly to your fundraiser and order online.
Is there a minimum amount we need to sell?
No. There is no minimum sales amount. You can sell as much or as little as you like — it does not change your fundraiser.
Sales & earnings
Know what your fundraiser earns and how supporters place their orders.
How much can our fundraiser earn?
Fundraiser returns are shown clearly on the products available to your fundraiser. Many options return 38% or more of the customer price to your fundraiser.
How do supporters place and pay for orders?
Supporters find your fundraiser online, choose their products and pay securely through the website. Their order is automatically linked to your fundraiser.
Do supporters need to handle cash?
No. Ordering and payment are completed online, making the fundraiser cashless for supporters and easier for organisers to manage.
How will I know how much we have raised?
Your organiser dashboard keeps your fundraiser information together and shows your progress, including how much your fundraiser has raised.
Orders & fulfilment
What happens after selling finishes, including collection, delivery and frozen products.
What happens when the fundraiser ends?
Once your fundraiser closes, Future Foods begins a 7-day preparation period to finalise supporter orders and prepare products for fulfilment. Your fundraiser will use the fulfilment option selected by the organiser: Delivery to Group or Future Foods Warehouse Pickup.
What are our collection and delivery options?
You choose one fulfilment option for your fundraiser. Delivery to Group: Future Foods delivers the complete fundraiser order to the organiser/group, and the organiser handles supporter collection from their chosen location. Future Foods Warehouse Pickup: supporters collect their own individual orders directly from Future Foods, and Future Foods manages those supporter pickups at no extra charge to the fundraiser.
When can orders be collected or delivered?
There is a 7-day Future Foods preparation period after your fundraiser closes. For Warehouse Pickup, once orders are ready, supporters will be emailed through the Future Foods Fundraising platform to let them know the collection period is open. For Delivery to Group, the organiser selects a Future Foods delivery date after the preparation period. This is the date the fundraiser order is delivered to the organiser — it does not have to be the date supporters collect their orders.
If I choose delivery, how will my supporters know when to collect their orders?
If you choose Delivery to Group, you can set the supporter collection date, collection time, address/location and any collection instructions. These supporter collection details are separate from the date Future Foods delivers the products to you. Once confirmed, Future Foods Fundraising will email the collection information to your supporters through our platform, and supporters will also be able to view the details with their order information.
Where is warehouse collection from?
Supporters collect their individual orders directly from Future Foods Auckland, 17-19A Onslow Ave, Papatoetoe, Auckland 2104 during the available collection period. Future Foods manages supporter collections at no additional cost to the fundraiser.
What happens with frozen products?
Frozen products need to remain frozen. If your fundraiser includes frozen items, the organiser should make sure suitable frozen storage is available when the order is collected or delivered.
Payments & support
From receiving your fundraising proceeds to getting help from the Future Foods team.
When do we get paid?
Once your fundraiser has finished and has been completed by our admin team, you will be notified to submit your bank details. Payment will be made as soon as your bank details are received.
Can I change my fundraiser after it has been approved?
You can continue managing the parts of your fundraiser that are available in your organiser account, but the approved start and end dates cannot be changed. If you need help with something, contact the Future Foods team.
